If you’ve been following More Than Four Walls for a while you know one thing is true about me for sure:

I love to be organized.

Systematizing and planning are my “thing” but I know not all women share the natural affinity to be organized.

When I saw the 2014 Daily Planner by Sue of Homemaker’s Friend my love of organizers took over and I asked if I could review it.

I am very glad I did.

First, I love the large spiral bind.  It gives the book plenty of page-turn freedom to quickly flip through sections.

There are 7 tabbed sections:

  • Year – Plus there are guide lines you can cut to create tabbed month pages if you choose!
  • Month – Includes Dec 2013 and Jan 2015 to ease the transition from one year to the next.
  • Week – Each new week has a scripture. If you are really busy and feel there’s no time for extra devotions you could focus on memorizing that one scripture.  At the end of the year you’d know 52 verses.
  • Tasks
  • Projects
  • Info – Because when the cell battery dies and you can’t find Aunt Ethel’s phone number.
  • Shopping – Awesome perforated 1/3 sheets for shopping trips.

If getting organized or better time management is on your list of goals for 2014 this planner will be a great tool for you to use.

This planner has quickly become on of my favorites.  We’re an on the go family and the size of this planner is perfect for tucking in an over-sized purse or tote for traveling.

  1. Thanks for the chance!

  2. Sorry I missed the giveaway 🙂
I just stopping in to give a warm greeting and wish you a “Happy New Year”, friend! I greatly value your insights and like-mindedness.
I have given a lot of thought as to how I will use my time this year, and I will be cutting way back on visiting blogs. BUT, I thought I would share this: if you find a moment to visit and a comment, I will do my best to always return the favor. I desire to go deeper, not broader, and I thought of you 🙂

    • Thanks Jacqueline and Happy New Year to you too! I too rarely read blogs anymore. It seems there isn’t much time as I look to bless others with my posts and manage my home. I will surely stop by in 2014 and see what you’re up to!
