You may have seen the awesome give away going on this week for bunch of essential oils.
I’m sponsoring ylang ylang oil for that give away and today I want to share a five uses for ylang ylang essential oil.
Stress and anxiety relief – a whiff or two can help relieve the stresses of the day
Skin Balancer – Balances skin oil from healing overly dry to overly oily skin
Wind Down – Wind down with a few drops on your pillow or up to 10 drops in a warm bath
Dandruff – In a carrier oil like sweet almond, ylang ylang can be used as a scalp rub.
Sore Muscles – If my shoulders are feeling tired I’ll mix a two drops of ylang ylang with a bit of jojoba oil in the palm of my hand and rub it on the hurting shoulder.
How to Use Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (Aromatherapy) by Miriam Kinai is only $2.99 (at the time of this posting) has lots of ideas and how to’s for using ylang ylang oil as well.
If you’re new to essential oils my blogging friend Lea, a Certified Aromatherapist, runs Learning About Essential Oils where you can find helpful information about all types of oils.
As always, use with caution
Like many essential oils ylang ylang has wonderful properties that are beneficial for you and your family. You must, however exercise caution when using essential oils. Ylang ylang specifically can cause nausea or headaches if used excessively.
